The annual DIRECT PLAY AND WIN!™ MEMBER CARD® Debit Card Sweepstakes are back this fall. The contest will be running from Monday November 3rd, through until Sunday November 30th. Education Credit Union members with MEMBER CARD Debit Cards will be automatically entered to win every time they use their cards to make an INTERACT† Direct Payment (IDP) transaction.

There will be nine provincial winners picked per week for the four weeks ending November 9 (Week 1), November 16 (Week 2), November 23 (Week 3), and November 30 (Week 4). Canadian Central will be providing a total of $18, 000 of prize money for the Sweepstakes.

Each winner will receive a $500 cash prize. Before claiming the prize, potential winners will be contacted via telephone by a representative of Canadian Central, and will be asked to correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question within a specified time limit. If they answer correctly they will then be declared a winner. The contest excludes all credit union employees, family members and Credit Union Central of Canada representatives. Manual entries may also be made without a purchase, with a limit of one per household per week.
