The Education Credit Union is unique in that we are a cashless financial institution. Instead we provide
you with different ways to access your account and your funds.
Most ECU accounts are accessible through a Member Card® which can be used
to obtain goods and services through the INTERAC® Direct Payment system. You
can also withdraw cash, make deposits and inquire into your account balances.
Personal cheques are also available on our multi-purpose accounts, for those times when a debit card won't
suffice. For a nominal charge, the ECU staff can also issue you a cheque if you choose. The cheque can be mailed to you or ready for you to pick up at your branch.
Another method of accessing your account is through MemberDirect Telephone and Internet Access. You can
check your account balances, transfer funds between accounts and pay bills - at no charge!
