How do I switch my account?

Are you ready for something different and better? Interested in making the switch to the Education Credit Union for all your financial needs? Our switch kit has been designed to make switching to the credit union as easy as 1,2,3. Your member service representative will help you complete the Switch Kit forms over the phone or in person.

With our switch kit, changing to your credit union is easy:

1. Contact your member service representative at 519-742-3500 – Option 1 (Education Centre) or 519-772-3050 (TechTown) to receive expert advice and quality assistance in completing the transfer.


2. Your member service representative will help you complete the Switch Kit, completing the pertinent forms over the phone or in person:


• Financial Institution Transfer Request
• Pre-Authorized Payment Form
• Direct Deposit Form (WRDSB or University of Waterloo)
• Direct Deposit Authorization Form (other companies)
• MemberDirect Telephone/Internet Bill Payment


3. Once the applicable forms are complete, we can submit them for you. We just require your signature to complete the change.
