Tax rules undergo constant change, which lends to the increasing layers of complexity of tax reporting and planning processes. An
increasing number of individuals seek out professional services to avoid the confusion of tax implications or simply due to the lack
of time.
For your convenience, ECU offers an on-site Personal Tax Preparation Service from March 4 to April 23, 2010. Alan Wintrip, Chartered
Accountant, provides professionally prepared returns, including electronic filing (EFile) along with a complete copy of your return
for your records at very reasonable rates.
Members of the Education Credit Union can take advantage of professional tax planning and preparation services through our
relationship with two local Chartered Accounting firms.
2010 Tax Preparation Rates (plus GST)
- $55 base rate plus $2 per slip
- $35 base rate for child/student plus $2 per slip (if processed with parents)
Simply call the credit union office to obtain your information package. Your return will be electronically filed and you will receive a complete copy of the tax return for your records. If you are expecting a refund, the funds can be electronically deposited to your account, normally within about two weeks.
Make sure
you are taking full advantage of the Home Renovation Credit and be assured that your return will be handled confidentially and quickly.
